As the former Superintendent of MSD of Wabash County, I have had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the positive impact this organization has on the youth and families of our community.
The work of the Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition is vital to the future of our county. By educating our youth, supporting families, and advocating for healthier lifestyles, the Coalition is making a measurable difference today and building a stronger, healthier tomorrow.
One of the most powerful areas of impact is in our schools. The Coalition’s Youth Coordinator reaches thousands of students each year, providing age-appropriate education to 2nd and 5th grade students across the county, as well as presenting in junior high and high school health classes. These lessons equip our students with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed, healthy choices that will benefit them throughout their lives.

SMOKE FREE AIR will build a HEALTHIER WABASH COUNTY
The mission of the Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition is to prevent tobacco use, protect residents from secondhand smoke, shift cultural attitudes, support quit efforts, prevent youth initiation, and uphold laws that reduce public harm from tobacco and e-cigarettes.
The Coalition consists of interested Wabash County residents that are engaged in making Wabash County a healthier place to live by promoting a tobacco free environment that is free from nicotine addiction and the exposure of any tobacco products.
